Dye Garden Cowl

 

I designed this special cowl in 2020 for A Verb for Keeping Warm to celebrate their 10th anniversary and the natural dyeing journey that is central to Verb's work. Madder and indigo leaves, seeds, blossoms, mushrooms, and cochineal are featured in this quick knit that pairs AVFKW Gather with Spincycle Dyed in the Wool.

    Spincycle Dyed in the Wool 100% US superwash Merino; 200 yards per 50 g skein in Small Wonder

  • 22 stitches and 24 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch over colorwork after blocking on US 6 (4 mm) needles
